Join Bib & Tucker Sew Op instructor Sonya Muhammad, as she teaches you how to use, love, and maintain your sewing machine. Open to ages 12 and up.

Time: 3 PM - 5 PM
Location: basic. 2214 2nd Ave. N. Birmingham, AL 35203
During this class you will learn:
-How to operate a sewing machine: How to thread your machine, change the needle, change the stitch style and length, how to wind your bobbin and load your bobbin.
-Basic machine sewing: How to sew a straight stitch, a zig zag stitch, and a back stitch
-Basic machine maintenance: Tips on how to keep your machine running smoothly and referrals for what to do and where to go when it doesn't.
Supplies Needed:
-Sewing Machine (If you do not have a machine you can rent one from Bib & Tucker for $15.00)
-Thread
-Scissors
-Extra Sewing Machine Needle (Universal needle is preferred)
-Your Sewing Machine's Manual
