ABOUT THIS CLASS

Ready to take the next step in garment sewing? Join instructor Pam Holmes for a two-part class featuring the Ashton Top by Helen’s Closet.

Designed for beginning garment sewists, this class will walk you through the process of working with a sewing pattern—from choosing the right size and cutting your fabric to constructing and finishing your top.

During the first session, you'll learn about PDF patterns, take measurements for a better fit, choose your size, prepare your pattern and fabric, and work with interfacing. During the second session, it's time to sew!

Your printed Ashton Top pattern and interfacing are included with the class.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring:

• 2 yards of prewashed fabric suitable for your top

• Matching thread

• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter

Quilting cotton, shirt-weight cotton, and linen are good fabric choices for this project.

Your printed Ashton Top pattern and interfacing will be provided by the instructor.
