Sustainable Saturdays
With Sustainable Saturdays we aim to help our community and environment though small acts of repair and upcycling. We hope to help you make your cloths last longer and stay out of the landfills.
Once a month, 3rd Saturday of the month.
-Free to attend.
-Come alone or with a friend and learn a sustainability skill from sewing on a button to visible mending techniques you can do at home.
-We will be demoing or teaching skills to make your cloths last longer or how to upcycle them into something else useful!
-We aim to help keep clothing and textiles out of our landfills by helping you give them a new or longer life.
April 18th 11am-2pm
This month join Mikhail as they get you started and guide you though the basics of visible mending on woven cloth. Mikhail will get you started at the top of each hour: 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. Bring in a clothing item to see if it will work with visible mending or work from supplies we will provide. No registration is required, but space is limited.
