With just five spots available, this two-session experience offers an opportunity to develop specialized sewing skills in a focused, hands-on setting.

Using the Jordy Bralette pattern, you'll explore techniques that take your sewing to a whole new level—from working with delicate stretch fabrics and precise seam allowances to mastering lingerie construction and creating a bralette of your own.

This isn't your average sewing class. It's an opportunity to challenge yourself, expand your craftsmanship, and walk away with skills you can use long after the workshop ends.

WHAT TO BRING

Required Materials:

Students will need the Jordy Bralette sewing pattern by EmeraldErin and the materials needed to construct their bralette.

Beginners to lingerie sewing are encouraged to purchase the coordinating Jordy Bralette kit, which includes the materials needed for the project and comes in a variety of fabric and color combinations. Depending on your size, you may have enough fabric for two bralettes.

Tools & Supplies:

  • Sewing machine with straight and zigzag stitch capabilities (required)
  • Rotary cutter with extra blades (28 mm recommended)
  • Ballpoint straight pins for delicate and stretch fabrics
  • Pattern weights (a set of four recommended)

French curve rulers will be provided by the instructor, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Skill Requirements

This is an intermediate-level class. Participants should already be comfortable operating a sewing machine, sewing curves, working with small seam allowances, and handling slightly challenging fabrics.

Please Note: Supplies are not included in the class registration fee.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Journey King | Lingerie Sewist & Sewing Instructor

Journey King is a self-taught sewist with six years of experience sewing lingerie. She's passionate about showing others that making your own undergarments isn't as intimidating as it sounds. Through approachable, hands-on instruction, Journey helps students build confidence while learning the techniques needed to create their own beautiful, well-fitting lingerie.
