One on One Mid-arm Lesson
Do you want to learn how to use a mid-arm machine to do basic quilting for your quilting projects? Join Bib & Tucker Sew-Op member Chita Drinkard, for a 50 minute focused one on one session on how to use a mid-arm sewing machine for basic quilting. Open to ages 12 and up, with a solid knowledge of how to use a standard sewing machine.
Please review the supplies needed/preparation ahead of your session and be ready to start immediately to get the most out of your session.
Date: Friday February 20th 2026
Time: select a 50 minute time slot
Location: Bib & Tucker Sew-Op Shop, 7001 Crestwood Blvd. Suite #806, Birmingham, AL 35210
During this class you will learn:
-How to operate a mid-arm sewing machine for basic quilting
-How to thread a mid-arm machine
-How to prepare the bobbin and test the tension.
Supplies Needed/Preparation:
-3 or 4 twelve inch blocks or a baby sized quilt. Please bring all blocks or baby quilt already sandwiched and basted or pinned.

For this reason we are only able to issue refunds or class credits, if WE, Bib & Tucker Sew-Op happen to cancel or reschedule this class. If YOU register for this class and are unable to attend for any reason, we offer a 50% refund for cancellations 30 or more days prior to the class, we offer no refund for cancellations less than 30 days before the class.
